Andreas Krause
Krause earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University in 2008 and his Diplom in Computer Science and Mathematics from the Technical University of Munich, Germany in 2004. Before joining ETH Zurich, he was an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Caltech.
Krause's contributions to the field of machine learning and adaptive systems have earned him numerous awards and honors, including the Rössler Prize, ERC Starting Investigator, and ERC Consolidator grants, the German Pattern Recognition Award, an NSF CAREER award, the Okawa Foundation Research Grant, and the ETH Golden Owl teaching award.
