Moshe Sipper is a distinguished professor of computer science at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel. He holds a BA degree from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and MSc and PhD degrees from Tel Aviv University, all in computer science. Moshe's research interests lie in evolutionary computation, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and deep learning. His contributions to the field include over 200 scientific publications, three books, and supervision of close to 30 graduate students. Moshe has also served as an associate editor of several journals, including IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation and Genetic Programming and Evolvable Machines. He has won numerous awards for his contributions, including the 2015 IEEE CIS Outstanding TCIAIG Paper Award and the 1999 EPFL Latsis Prize. Beyond his academic pursuits, Moshe is also a fiction author, cartoonist, and singer. He has published four fiction books, including "Xor: The Shape of Darkness," and "The Peaceful Affair."
