Ian Goodfellow

Ian Goodfellow is a professor of computer science at Stanford University and a staff research scientist at Google Brain. He is known for his work on generative adversarial networks (GANs) and deep learning. Goodfellow received his Ph.D. in machine learning from the Université de Montréal in 2014, where Yoshua Bengio advised him. He has also worked as a research scientist at OpenAI and a visiting researcher at Microsoft Research.
