Amir Globerson (M'07) earned his B.Sc. degree in computer science and physics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel, in 1995. He then completed his Ph.D. in neural computation, also at the Hebrew University, in 2007. Following his doctoral studies, he held postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Toronto and at MIT from 2007 to 2009.

Since September 2009, Dr. Globerson has been a faculty member at the Rachel and Selim Benin School of Computer Science and Engineering at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he continues to conduct groundbreaking research in machine learning.

Throughout his career, Dr. Globerson has received numerous accolades for his research, including two best paper awards at the Uncertainty in Artificial Intelligence (UAI) conference in 2007 and 2008, respectively. He also received an outstanding student paper award at the Advances in Neural Information Processing Systems (NIPS) conference in 2004.
